we respect your privacy

Our policy

Our privacy policy outlines how we store your information in line with current Data Protection Laws (GDPR) in Europe.

What information we collect:

In order to book a treatment with Unfurl Holistic Massage Therapy we will ask for your personal information such as your name, address, mobile number and email address. We may also ask you to complete a consultation form that details your medical, social and health history. We may require clients to complete a health screening form prior to receiving a treatment as a mitigation in the ongoing Covid-19 situation.

How we use your information:

All paper consultation forms containing personal client data are kept in a secure filing cabinet at our business address. This filing cabinet is accessed only by therapists who work at our clinic. Your information is not shared with any other individuals or businesses.

From Nov 2021, online client consultation or health screening forms and personal client data will be collected and held using online password-protected database. We will not share your information with any other individuals or organisations and we only use it to contact you with appointment related information or enquiries.

If you give us permission to contact you for marketing purposes, such as to receive our promotional emails, your contact details will be held in a secure database. We will not share your information with any other individual or organisation.

You have the right to determine how your data is collected and used by us. In particular:

Your personal information can only be held on valid bases, such as your consent, and our contractual obligation to provide services to you.

You have the right to request that your personal information be erased, also known as the “right to be forgotten,” subject only to our specific needs concerning legal obligations or claims.

You can exercise your rights at any time by contacting us. If you consented to us collecting and/or processing your personal information but change your mind, you can get in contact to request that we erase the personal information that we hold about you.
